Investing in workforce counts when it comes to staff development

More Inspectas Surveyors attend the PCA Certificated Surveyor course in Japanese Knotweed

We’re firm believers in strengthening the skills of our workforce and recognise that by obtaining industry leading qualifications we can offer clients the peace of mind that comes from being able to demonstrate practical experience – experience that’s backed up with academic attainment.

Continuous training also helps keep us right at the cutting edge of industry developments and allows our employees to feel that they are truly valued within the organisation. People count and we recognise that.

This week another of our Invasive Weed Specialists, Andrew Ford, attended the Property Care Associations Certificated Surveyor course in Japanese Knotweed at their head office in Huntingdon.

The structure of the course focused on:

  • Information on invasive species and their impacts
  • Legislation
  • Ecology of invasive species.
  • Site inspection, risk assessment and monitoring
  • Biosecurity
  • Herbicide use
  • Waste management

The course ran for 2 days and feedback from Andrew has been incredibly positive and we look forward to Andrew continuing to offer the best possible service to our existing and future clients.
